Golf Clubs near Colchester

Find your nearest golf course or club or golf pro in or around Colchester. Actually this is really great way to see all the golf courses around Essex at a glance. You will see distances and directions from you location and of course the all-important telephone number to check green fees and whether you can play when you want to play. Whenever I want to play it seems to be a Medal Day!

Tip! If you would like a cheap round of golf ask whether they do a Twilight rate. There is really nothing nicer than 9 holes after work - at half price!

Golf Courses

Playgolf Colchester

Bakers Ln, Colchester CO3 4AU, UK – 01206 843333

We went and played mini golf. The course is pretty fun, with a few hazards like a jump and tunnels. The holes have a little map before each one showing optimal routes - a couple of them are on the wrong holes, which is a bit confusing. The dinosaurs are pretty good but I'm not super clear why it's dinosaurs AND ancient Romans - seems like you could have just picked one.

Golf course average for this time of year. Very hot but normally very good. Food average to below average
